I am a self-taught metalsmith.  Creativity has always been part of my life.  My father was a painter and my mother enjoyed sewing and fiber art.  After graduating from Albion College in Michigan with a degree in visual art, I was introduced to metalsmithing and became passionate about making jewelry.  My focus is contemporary  jewelry accented with gemstones.

My jewelry is architectural, bold, detailed, precise, and fabricated from sterling silver, 18k yellow gold, and semi-precious/precious gemstones.  To achieve my signature look, I use traditional and modern goldsmith techniques that include acid etching, roller printing, cold forging, and oxidation.  Stones are chosen only for accent and color.  Each piece is unique and reflects my artistic vision and aesthetic, which has evolved over time and gained strength in the process.
